Scarf of the summer
I don’t make the rules: headscarves are in this summer. When I found this one from cult-favorite bathing suit brand Hunza G, I finally felt ready to join the trend. It’s super lightweight and dries quickly, but what I like most about it is that I don’t have to tie anything. This means there’s no clumsy knot bulging through at the nape of my neck. Its shape is chic (very Kennedy-esque) and it comes in a variety of colorways and materials, including an Italian UPF 50+ fabric to protect the scalp from burning. Every time I put it on, I feel like I should be jumping onto a speedboat on the Amalfi Coast, even if I’m just headed to my local farmers market. –Sylvie Florman

Upgrade your morning coffee
This coffee is so good, the former president of Nespresso invested after one sip.
Cometeer starts with specialty-grade and single-origin coffees from award-winning roasters — Counter Culture, Equator, Onyx, Joe Coffee, Intelligentsia — brewed to perfection, then flash-frozen at peak flavor and sealed into recyclable aluminum capsules.
Just melt and enjoy incredibly delicious hot or iced coffee, espresso, or lattes in seconds — no plastic pods, no plastic machines, no mess.
Endorsed by barista champions and Michelin-starred chefs, it tastes like a fresh pour-over, minus the wait and cleanup, and consistently beats other single-serve formats in taste tests.
Melt your first cup and taste why we can’t live without Cometeer.

Family affair
LINDSAY AUTRY & DAVID SABIN • co-founders • Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival
Neighborhood you live in: Palm Beach Gardens
It’s Thursday morning. What’s the scene at your workplace?
Before heading into work, our mornings are dedicated to getting our six-year-old off to school or camp. David really takes the reins on breakfast and is the king of the bento lunch box (and artistic snack bag drawing) every morning. Right now, we’re diligently working on finalizing plans for this year’s festival, which takes place December 10-13. We usually work from home, to divide and conquer.
What’s on the agenda for today?
David is heading to client meetings for his hospitality PR company, Brickhouse, and juggling venue site visits for the festival. I’m off to Honeybelle at PGA National to review the final menus for holiday programming and recipe-test new menu items with the team. We touch base often throughout the day as we’re close to launching ticket sales for the festival.
Any bar or restaurant plans today, tonight, this weekend?
Even though we’re a chef- and food-centered family, we struggle with “what’s for dinner” like everyone else. Lindsay will either make dinner at home or we’ll decide to go to one of our favorite places for a delicious family-focused meal. If we’re feeling casual and want to stay close to home, Captain Charlie’s Original Reef Grill is one of our favorite local spots. For more of a date night, we really enjoy The Polo Room (intel) on Palm Beach Island.
How about a little leisure or culture?
We recently took our son Jack to his first concert and we’re hoping to add more concerts to our family outings. We also love strolling the Palm Beach Gardens GreenMarket on Sundays to grab great local produce and artisan-made goods. During the week, you can usually find us at Club Pilates or Lifetime Fitness.
Any weekend getaways?
I’ve been consulting on a project in Jekyll Island, GA, which is about a four-hour drive from our home. We’ve really fallen in love with that quaint area and try to sneak away as much as we can. When we visit Jekyll Island, we love the slow-paced ambiance. A daytime walk around Driftwood Beach, followed by a round of mini golf, and then dinner at Willet’s Lowcountry (inside the Westin Jekyll Island) — a perfect day for us. It is also only a 20-minute drive to St. Simons Island, so we often go there for a day trip or dinner.
What was your last great vacation?
We recently spent two weeks in Europe, starting in Italy, then making our way through France and England to spend a week in Scotland. We took a road trip through the Highlands and up to Isle of Skye. It was some of the most breathtaking scenery we’ve ever experienced and our travel agent, Dani Crowley of Red Letter Travel, planned the perfect itinerary.
What’s a recent big-ticket purchase you love?
We recently completed some beautiful home renovations with our contractor Casabella Designs. We recently had our primary and guest bathrooms renovated, which we’d put off since purchasing our home several years ago. It’s so nice to have a bathroom not stuck in the ‘90s.
What store or service do you always recommend?
Vagabond Apparel in Palm Beach Gardens, one of my favorite places to shop. They have such a great curated selection of clothing and accessories. I always find the perfect gifts and outfits for the festival there.
Where are you donating your time or money?
Giving back to our community that has so generously supported us is one of our driving forces. Els for Autism is our official charity for the festival, and we’re honored to partner with them and the incredible work they do.
