Neighborhood you work in: Little River
It’s Thursday morning. What’s the scene at your workplace?
I’m up by 430a every day. I get my own workout in before the day starts so I can lead with clarity and energy. By 530, Legacy in Little River is already alive. Classes kick off at 6, and our trainers are coaching the PIT classes while others work one-on-one with personal training clients. What makes those early mornings special is that it’s mostly the same crew every morning, people who show up before the sun, day after day. That kind of consistency builds real community.
What’s on the agenda for today?
Today, I’m meeting with investors for our NO DAYS OFF Premium Water and reviewing progress on the new Legacy facility we're opening in Nashville this summer. It’s a city with a growing wellness scene and a strong sense of community — everything we look for when opening a new location. Later this afternoon, I’m recording a new episode of The Big Dawgs, my podcast where I sit down with people who are chasing greatness in their own way. Whether it’s business, sports, music or personal growth, the conversations always tend to come back to mindset and showing up for yourself and your community every single day as a pillar for success.
Any bar or restaurant plans today, tonight, this weekend?
I keep things pretty clean during the week — Carrot Express is a staple for me: quick, healthy, and keeps me fueled without slowing me down. But if I’m going out, it's likely Sunny’s — it’s right by the Little River facility and has become a go-to spot. Great atmosphere, amazing food, and feels like an extension of the community we’re building.
How about a little leisure or culture?
Soho House, the beach, the pool. I love live music and honestly wish Miami had more of it, but I’m always on the lookout for great shows when they pop up.
Any weekend getaways?
If I’m getting out of Miami for the weekend, it’s usually to Nashville. I've been traveling there pretty often these days to check in on our expansion, but I also just love the city. The energy, the people, the live music everywhere — it’s got this creative energy that really inspires me.
What was your last great vacation?
Breckenridge, Colorado, for a ski trip — it was incredible. We rented a big house right on the mountain and spent our days skiing, hanging out, just enjoying the pace. The Overlook was one of the best spots on the mountain for lunch with a view.
What’s a recent big-ticket purchase you love?
My truck. I recently bought one of only 40 Shelby Raptor Rs.
Where are you donating your time or money?
I give to local animal shelters and Pets for Vets, which connects rescue animals with veterans. I’m also proud to support 300 Letters, a nonprofit founded by one of my longtime team members. He’s been with me for years, and he started the organization based on his own personal experiences after incarceration. What he’s built — helping people reenter society with support, resources, and dignity — is powerful, and I’m proud to back it.

Sure thing
The Skinny: Situated inside its original dining room on Alton Road, the Macchialina team opened Fluke in April, transforming the space into an oyster and martini bar for the local set.
