It’s Thursday morning. What’s the scene at your workplace?
With four nightlife venues, two restaurants, and a major entertainment concept on the horizon, our world moves fast, and that’s what I love about it. Since launching in 2017, The Dirty Rabbit Group’s mission has been to deliver exceptional dining experiences, innovative beverage programs, vibrant art, and world-class entertainment right here in the heart of Miami. Every decision we make supports that vision.
Thursdays start with intention. I hit the Peloton early, have a healthy breakfast, and get focused for the day ahead. From there, it’s all about alignment — meeting with my leadership teams to review operations across each venue. We look at everything from guest experience and profitability to culture because, for us, success is about more than numbers — it’s about energy, creativity, and people.
What’s on your agenda for today?
Our priority is building momentum and driving awareness for our newest dining concept, Pasta & Juliet. It’s an intimate Italian restaurant in the heart of Brickell, sharing an address with our nightlife concepts, OneK Bar and OneK Room. At the same time, we’re gearing up for one of our biggest launches yet: Bagatelle on the River, opening this fall. With a prime waterfront location, panoramic views, and easy access to both downtown Miami and Brickell, it’s set to become the ultimate destination for dining, dancing, and entertainment just in time for the season.
Any bar or restaurant plans today, tonight, this weekend?
I’ve got a few Wynwood go-tos: the Spanish eatery Barcelona Wine Bar, Pastis Miami for undoubtedly the best French food in the city, and Bakan for Mexican cuisine. Closer to home, it’s YOLO in Fort Lauderdale and Bartaco in Aventura. And for pizza? Always Mister O1 — the best.
How about a little leisure or culture?
I practice Taekwondo for at least four hours each week — I’m a proud Black Belt! When time allows, I love getting out on the golf course. Another passion is sports. I’m a huge NFL fan, and when my favorite team (the San Francisco 49ers) is playing, you’ll definitely find me glued to the TV. In the soccer world, my team of choice is Chelsea FC.
Any weekend getaways?
One of the great things about living in Weston is how close we are to Naples. A short drive down I-75, and you will find beautiful white sand beaches along the west coast of Florida. Our favorite places to stay are LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort and the Ritz-Carlton Naples at Vanderbilt Beach. For dining and strolling, Mercato is a great walkable outdoor mall with plenty of restaurants. Top pick? Vergina Restaurant on 5th Ave in downtown Naples.
What was your last great vacation?
A road trip with the family is always a great vacation, but last year was truly special. We drove all the way to the Ozarks, making stops along the way in Birmingham, St. Louis, and Chicago. Each city had its charm, but the highlight of the trip was definitely the Ozarks. What an incredible place to unwind. We enjoyed boating, fishing, paddleboarding, and simply relaxing by the water. For a little more excitement, we even tried surf skiing. And, of course, the food was absolutely fantastic. We loved the Red Head Yacht Club with live music and great bar food and Paradise Restaurant & Bar was also a great spot for a cocktail while you pump gas for your boat.
What store or service do you always recommend?
Silverspot is the place to go to watch a movie.
